Jessica & Chad’s Inn at Wild Rose Hall wedding was SO much fun!!  These two are just big goofballs!  They wrote their own vows, had bright, lovely colors and Chad even knows all the words to Ice Ice Baby!  Plus, they had all sorts of freshly made pizzas for dinner AND tiny pies for dessert.  It was a lovely day to be a wedding photographer!  🙂  When they both referenced “Boy Meets World” in their vows, we knew it was meant to be.  Really, there couldn’t be two people more perfect for each other and we are so happy for them!

Kris and Karol’s The Parador wedding in Houston, TX was so gorgeous!  This day, we arrived to Karol’s getting ready location in a torrential downpour.  There were tornado warnings all day long, with an 80% chance of rain!  Miraculously, as soon as we all arrived at the venue the clouds parted.  We were so lucky we got to take portraits in the gorgeous garden at The Parador!  The best part of rain is that it leaves greens greener!  These two are adorable.  We feel so lucky we got to photograph their big day, and meet all their wonderful friends and family!

We had such a wonderful time photographing Asmaa & Aamir’s Houston Hilton wedding reception!  They had their ceremony a couple of months earlier, and had this big celebration just before Christmas!  We arrived just in time to take a few quick, lovely portraits that afternoon in front of the Hilton Hotel in Houston before the party started!  They and their families are all such gorgeous people and we feel so lucky to have met them!

This Mercury Hall wedding was such a special day!  Daley and Gerrit are so sweet, and so goofy at the same time.  They’re completely perfect for each other, and you may remember them from their Galveston engagement session with their pup Wiley.  Daley’s amazing mother helped craft the gorgeous shoulder for her wedding gown, and her blue suede shoes are to die for.  This was shockingly one of the chilliest days we’ve had in Austin in forever, but they were all troopers and we still got to shoot some portraits out in the gorgeous trees at Mercury Hall!

We loved the whole crew this day.  Daley’s sister, Lacey (and her husband Aaron), was one of the first people to put their trust in me for their wedding after I started my business and I will forever be grateful!  Also, we got to shoot one of her bridesmaid’s engagement sessions earlier this year, too (shoutout to Stephanie and Sam!!)!

Three Points Ranch Wedding

Lauren & Wes had the most laid back, awesome Three Points Ranch wedding!  Wes brewed his own beer for the big day, so Lauren made the boutonnieres out of bottle caps!  Plus, there were lots of toasts, laughing & dancing. Aside from all the amazing vintage airstreams at this venue, they also have a beautiful, huge old tree that Lauren & Wes used for their ceremony location!  They are such kind and loving people – it was truly a pleasure shooting their day!

With the holidays coming up, we were thinking about all the things we are thankful for, and became overwhelmed with gratitude for all of the lovely people who support us and allow us to do what we love most for a living!  We KNOW how lucky we are to live the life we do, and are SO, very, very grateful!  We’ve been so incredibly blessed in this venture, and are so happy to have our 2014 almost completely booked already!  Having that security, to be able to live and create art for so many lovely people in love is an absolute dream.  Not only that, but we’re so happy to have clients who inspire US.  Everything from musicians, teachers, fitness experts, graphic artists, athletes, those who give their lives to non-profits (Unicef, Relay for Life, etc.), nutritionists, speech pathologists, authors – to people who are dedicated to traveling, loving and simply living their lives to the fullest!  We have loved every single one of our clients and all the places they’ve taken us, and just can’t believe how much we’ve lucked out!

To thank everyone and all of our supporters we’re offering 1 full day of wedding photography only coverage (plus the edited images and a print release [package does not include video]) to one happy couple!  We are hoping this will give a couple that might otherwise not be able to book us, but that shares our style and who loves our work, the chance to work with us!  Teachers, nurses, firefighters, armed services, fellow artists like ourselves, you name it!  This is not limited to Texas couples, so feel free to enter no matter your location!

This Gabriel Springs wedding in Georgetown, TX was so beautiful!  Nancy and Lucas are so bubbly and in love!  We love her silly sense of humor, and we love how totally gaga Lucas is for Nancy.  Gabriel Springs, with it’s wooden interior was a perfect fit for this country lovin’ couple!  We loved how they both wore boots the whole day!  What a blast!

Nancy & Lucas chose to do a First Look!  We love when couples do a First Look, because it allows for a more intimate setting when the groom sees his bride for the first time.  It also gave us from more free time for portraits, and a bit of time for them to exchange letters and gifts before the ceremony!

Brooke and Ben are so fun!  We feel so lucky that they found us, and had us come out to Ben’s hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas for their big day!

We were so happy when Elena and Tony asked us to come shoot their Yuma, AZ wedding!  We just love her bohemian style and their laid back attitude!  They’ve traveled all around the world together, and made it back to their hometown to tie the knot!  Also, the Quartermaster Depot was such a cool venue!

Star Hill Ranch is such an awesome place for a wedding!  There are so many small buildings, making it a really unique experience!  And oh, do we just love these two!  They are sooo happy and in love.  I am so happy to share their Star Hill Ranch wedding with you all!

 

 

We had such a wonderful time at Lisa & Steve’s wedding!  These two are  so gorgeous, and had their ceremony in downtown Houston and their reception at Lisa’s family’s restaurant!  We loved getting to shoot a tea ceremony for the first time, too!

In the world of weddings, I consider this one a slammmm dunk.  Really rad/totally gorgeous couple, awesomely fun bridal party, and on a beautiful afternoon at Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs.  Does life get any sweeter?  I think not!
