Springdale Farm Wedding Photographer | Matt & Kate

Springdale Farm Wedding Photographer | Matt & Kate

I had such an amazing time capturing Matt’s and Kate’s ridiculously fun Springdale Farm wedding this past fall. It was definitely a challenge not to find yourself in a fit of laughter when you’re around Matt and Kate. They say, “You are the company you keep.” If this is true, then Matt and Kate are in for a lifetime full of happiness and love.
I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard and smiled so much at a wedding before, even as a guest! We were all shedding tears of laughter during their gorgeous, outdoor ceremony, performed by the Dude (one of their hilarious uncles)! Matt’s and Kate’s love and positivity towards one another was so incredibly infectious throughout the entire night. The palpable love flowing between them was so strong, it filled the air and was felt by all.

Cheers to the Love Birds

Their reception was outside as well, and it was just as incredible and beautiful as their ceremony. It had a familiar, rustic feel, which I loved, and allowed for everyone to feel welcome and relaxed. The lighting, trees, and décor cultivated such a comfortable yet romantic atmosphere, and everyone was absolutely wonderful and kind. The entire wedding was just so beautiful and organic; it was certainly a magical and unforgettable night.
Everything ran s incredibly smoothly with help from Stephanie at Frills Consulting. If there’s one thing I would suggest splurging on for your wedding day, aside from your photography of course, it would have to be a great day-of coordinator like Stephanie. What a difference a bit of organized help makes!
Matt and Kate are so beautifully in love. Photographing their special day was such an amazing experience. I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness as they begin their adventure of life together as husband and wife, and I can’t wait to see where this road takes them!

A beautiful day celebrating an even more beautiful couple. We are so blessed to have been their Springdale Farm Wedding Photographer!

Austin Engagement Photography | Niki & Bill

Niki & Bill are two of the cutest people I’ve ever met. With a balloon fight and a hilariously hard-to-steer bike, we had a blast. We were so worried it was going to start pouring during our session since it had been flooding all week, but we hugely lucked out and even got a couple minutes of pure sunshine here and there (and were sure to pause everything to chase it down when those moments happened)! Their wedding is this June at one of my favorite venues, Butler’s Courtyard, and I’m so excited to have the chance to photograph it!

First up is the engagement trailer Bryan made, and below are some of my favorite shots from this adorable session!

This session was also featured on the awesome blog A Paper Proposal!

Austin Engagement Photography | Landa Park | Jenn & John

Jenn & John are clearly two fun-loving people.  They come to Wurstfest in New Braunfels, Texas every year to enjoy themselves and visit the area where John grew up.  I was so excited to come check everything Landa Park had to offer out, and of course do a little trespassing and climb on top of a huge, very-well-fenced bridge (John’s idea!!  haha).

Here is a sneak peak of my favorite shots from the day!  I can’t wait til their wedding this May!

Houston Wedding Photography | Vintage Garden Tea Room | Andra & Chad

There is nothing better than having the opportunity to work with friends.  I love this couple & was so excited to photograph their wedding!  They are so joyful & creative, and their adorable wedding reflected them perfectly.  Bryan came to shoot their highlight video, posted below as a sneak peek!  My favorite part is the epic ending.  Enjoy!  🙂

PS – I love when Bryan takes video from the backside as I’m shooting from the front!  Note the booty grab at the end of the video I was totally oblivious to!  lol  Love them!

College Station Engagement Photography | Marianne & Kyle

A lot of people don’t realize how much luck comes into play with photoshoots.  You can plan everything out to the angle and the time of day, but you still have to just sit back and hope that it all goes well when the time comes.  But this is one of those times I just plain got lucky!  Lucky to be shooting with an awesome couple that is just so happy and comfortable with each other, & lucky that they’re adventurous enough to climb around a creepy old abandoned train we were fortunate enough to pass on our way into town.

We met at the Dixie Chicken in College Station to begin their engagement session and went around campus and Bryan for some other shots.  They kept laughing at each other, so the whole session was really fun!  For our last shots, we stopped at the train we spotted for a dreamy, vintage travel scene.  They’re from Illinois & Colorado, so they know a bit about moving around!  We peeked inside and really expected there to be way more evidence of hobos in the cabin, but it was actually pretty neat!  We have no idea what happened to it, or why it’s been sitting there for so long, but I feel really lucky to have gotten the chance to shoot with it.  Their wedding will be next September in my favorite place in the world – Estes Park, Colorado!

Here’s one little sneak peek of my favorite shot so far!
